Pamela Moore, SPHR is the founder of Compass Human Resources, a consulting firm focused on providing personalized human resource services to small businesses she has 20 years of human resource generalist experience in a wide range of industries. Her areas of expertise include everything from tools and systems to long-range strategic planning.

For the past seven years, Pamela has also been providing her expertise to organizations in the sustainability arena. She is co-developer and co-host of the annual Green Professionals Conference. She is dedicated to helping the industry grow by connecting great talent with sustainable organizations.


Janet Brumbaugh is the founder of Janet Brumbaugh and Associates. For over 18 years, Janet has been passionate about being an executive recruiter. She founded her company in order to better practice the specific element she values most in recruiting: a deeper probing into what both organizations and candidates really need.

Janet's extensive portfolio of clients is the result of her individualized approach. She delights in uncovering "hidden" talent, the proverbial needle-in-a-haystack. Her creative approach enables her to master many different types of client situations from sales, finance and marketing, to operations, technical and environmental. She prides herself as being a true “Renaissance” recruiter.


Vicki Lind, MS is a career counselor in private practice in Portland, Oregon. Her focus is on working with adults seeking positions that match their values and their drive to contribute a healthier community and/or planet. Vicki helps candidates examine potential employers for indicators of commitment to sustainability. She has designed an assessment tool used by sustainability professionals to evaluate potential employers’ values, from the mission statements to bike-friendly practices.

Over the past five years, Vicki has become a local leader in careers in sustainability. She has offered several career workshops and presentations, including for the Natural Step Network and Portland Green Drinks. She also offers career consultation for members of ISSP (International Association for Sustainability Professionals). Her expertise is captured in the Portland Green Guide to Network and Jobs (coauthored with Gail Nicholson).


Aimee Fahey, PHR, is a recruiting and staffing advisor at Bonneville Power Administration.  BPA supplies about half of the electricity used in the Pacific Northwest and about 80% of the electricity transmission capacity, and supports regional efforts on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and fisheries restoration. Utilizing her 10+ years of Human Resources experience in a diverse range of fields including utilties, publishing, nonprofit, manufacturing, government, healthcare, and energy efficiency, she delivers high-caliber results within this quickly evolving industry. Aimee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management , and has been a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2004.

A dedicated environmentalist, Aimee has represented her companies at a variety of events including Go Green, Green Professionals Conference, environmental career panels, and higher education events around the region.  She is passionate about living green and focuses on “walking the talk”. She commutes by bicycle and mass transit to work and implemented a number of energy efficient and sustainable measures in her home. Aimee welcomes the opportunity to meet students, professionals, and community members interested in learning more about the industry and sharing ideas about how we can all lower our carbon footprint.
